Mission Statement

Instructional and Information Technology Services (IITS) supports the campus, local and global communities through various technologies in accordance with the college's educational mission. We work proactively with all college constituents to integrate our professional expertise in the areas of Application Development and Support; Instructional Media Production Services; Instructional Technology and Distance Learning Development Services; Academic Computing and Multimedia Equipment Services and Support; and Network Services and User Support. In addition to training and enabling our users on access to the various systems; we evaluate, advise, enhance, design, develop and support technological systems, processes and advancements on a daily basis while looking forward to and planning for the emerging trends in a constantly evolving technological environment.


  1. ADS – Effective Use of Technology, General (Peoplesoft, etc.) – Application Development & Support will support and promote the effective integration of technology into college practices.ADS will select, design and install solutions designed to meet District needs.
  2. ITDC/DL: Learning Management System – Implement a new learning management system and make it available to all DL and face-to-face faculty who wish to use it for their classes.
  3. ITDC/DL: Integration of instructional technology into the curriculum of LBCC DL and face-to-face classes – ITDC/DL will support the integration of instructional technology into the curriculum of LBCC DL and face-to-face classes.
  4. IITS-Streamline Practices and Adopt Appropriate New Technologies – IITS will streamline practices and adopt new appropriate technologies to create efficiencies and economize resources to meet the growing technological needs and demands of the college.
  5. Network Services – Network Accessibility – Network Services will provide reliable and secure access to the district’s network which includes data, video and voice communications and assist the campus community in gaining access to these services.
  6. Web Development – Mobile Applications – Create a mobilized MyLBCC portal application with single sign on to appropriate web-based services using role based authorization.

You can Login to the Ticketsystem with your network account to view your services request's status, history, and assignment. You can also create worklogs, upload supporting documents, and even cancel your own request.
